Her Name Is Nicole is the unreleased debut studio album of Nicole Scherzinger with Interscope Records. Originally intended to be released on October 16, 2007, the album got pushed back to November 12, due to the poor success of the Polow da Don-produced lead single “Whatever U Like” (featuring T.I.). The tracks “Baby Love,” “Supervillain”, “Puakenikeni” and “Happily Never After” all followed as promo singles, but failed to make any chart impact. As a result, the album was shelved indefinitely.The singer had recorded 75–100 songs for this project with some of them later being revamped and ending up on the two Pussycat Dolls albums. Amongst those working with her in the studio were producers Akon, Gary Lightbody, Dr. Dre, Ne-Yo, T.I., Timbaland, Will.i.am, and Kanye West. In 2016 after her sophomore studio album Big Fat Lie rumors of an official mixtape with these tracks being readied appeared online.
