Her Name Is Nicole is the unreleased debut studio album of Nicole Scherzinger with Interscope Records. Originally intended to be released on October 16, 2007, the album got pushed back to November 12, due to the poor success of the Polow da Don-produced lead single “Whatever U Like” (featuring T.I.). The tracks “Baby Love,” “Supervillain”, “Puakenikeni” and “Happily Never After” all followed as promo singles, but failed to make any chart impact. As a result, the album was shelved indefinitely. The singer had recorded 75–100 songs for this project with some of them later being revamped and ending up on the two Pussycat Dolls albums. Amongst those working with her in the studio were producers Akon, Gary Lightbody, Dr. Dre, Ne-Yo, T.I., Timbaland, Will.i.am, and Kanye West. In 2016 after her sophomore studio album Big Fat Lie rumors of an official mixtape with these tracks being readied appeared online. Once again nothing followed and the album remains unreleased to this day. The tracklist of the album changes according to the webpage you visit.

Doll Domination is the second and final studio album by american girl group The Pussycat Dolls. It was released on September 19, 2008 by Interscope Records. Initially titled To Those Who Wait, the group later stated in an interview that the album had been renamed Doll Domination after many requests from fans. Doll Domination was the first album released following the departure of group member Carmit Bachar, and was the last album released with the remaining group members from the original lineup. Throughout 2009 the album was reissued in several different forms. Doll Domination generally received mixed to negative reviews, with most critics citing poor efforts to offer better material than their debut album. The record debuted at number four on the U.S. Billboard 200 with first-week sales of 79,000 copies. In doing so, it became the group's highest charting album, but with a lower first-week sales tally. It experienced similar peaks on charts worldwide, reaching the top five on the albums chart in Australia, Canada, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

Six singles were released, "When I Grow Up" which reached the top ten in 16 countries. The third single, "I Hate This Part", reached number eleven on the Billboard Hot 100 and also charted within the top ten in most countries. "Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny)" caused controversy as the single was credited as "Pussycat Dolls featuring Nicole Scherzinger", which caused tension within the group and rumored that Scherzinger would be going solo. It peaked atop the charts in 17 countries and reached a milestone in United States for the largest single-week leap from number 100.

The group was formed in early 2001 and consisted of Ana Maria Lombo, Ivette Sosa, Maile Misajon, Nicole Scherzinger (which later become the most famous alum member by become one of The Pussycat Dolls) and Rosanna Tavarez. Warner Bros./Sire Records signed the group to a recording contract before the band was named or had finalized its membership, due to the hours of network television exposure the group would receive. The group's debut single, "Get Over Yourself" topped the Canadian Singles Chart and peaked at #8 on the Billboard Hot 100. Their second single "Love This Way" had some radio play. Their album Popstars was certified gold, and peaked at #6 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Also in 2001 they played as a support act on some dates for *NSYNC's Pop Odyssey Tour and Jessica Simpson's DreamChaser Tour. At the end of the year, their record company, London-Sire Records, folded and the group eventually disbanded.
