"On the 6" is the debut studio album by american singer and actress Jennifer Lopez. The English edition was released on June 1, 1999, by the Work Group, and the Spanish edition of the album was released on November 24, 1999. The Spanish Edition is composed with five spanish songs, six english songs and one spanglish song ("Baila"); contains three new spanish songs, incluiding "Es Amor", "Amar Es Para Siempre" and "El Deseo De Tu Amor". The opening track of the album was "No Me Ames" - On the 6' second single released. It is a Spanish cover version of the Italian song "Non Amarmi", recorded by Baldi and Francesca Alotta for Baldi's album Il Sole (1993). The song was translated into Spanish by Ignacio Ballesteros at Anthony's request. The Spanish edition peaked #12 on Spanish Albums Weekly Charts, and #34 on Spanish Year-End Charts, winning a platinum certification in Argentina and Spain.
