Album: XSCAPE
Artist: Michael Jackson
Release: 9 May 2014
Format: Compilation
Version: Deluxe Edition
Label: Epic / Sony / MJJ
Archive: .MP3 / 320kpbs / 98MB

"Xscape" is the second posthumous album by American singer Michael Jackson, composed of previously unreleased tracks that were recorded between 1983 and 1999. It was released on May 9, 2014 by Epic Records, MJJ Music and Sony Music Entertainment, and is the tenth release by Sony and/or Motown since Jackson's death on June 25, 2009. L.A. Reid, chairman of Epic Records, curated and served as executive producer for the album enlisting Timbaland to lead a team of record producers, including StarGate, Jerome "J-Roc" Harmon, John McClain, and Rodney Jerkins, to remix and contemporize the eight selected tracks. Jerkins produced the title song and is the only original song producer to work on the final productions. The standard version of Xscape features eight tracks, each reworked between 2013 and 2014, whilst the deluxe version also includes the original versions of the songs which were recorded between 1983 and 1999, a bonus track and two videos. Xscape was promoted across the Sony group of companies; Sony Mobile used a snippet of "Slave to the Rhythm" in their advertising campaign for the Xperia Z2 mobile phone. A Pepper's ghost illusion of Jackson performed "Slave to the Rhythm" at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards in May 2014. Xscape debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 and number one on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The album was preceded by the release of its lead single, "Love Never Felt So Good", which included a newly recorded version featuring Justin Timberlake. It was a top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, reaching number nine. A second single, "A Place with No Name" was released later that year. "Invincible" is the final studio album by American singer Michael Jackson, released in October 30, 2001 by Epic Records. It was Jackson's sixth studio album released through Epic, his tenth overall, and his last released before his death in 2009. The album features appearances from Carlos Santana and The Notorious B.I.G.. It was reported that it cost $30 million to make the album, making it the most expensive album ever made. "Invincible" debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 and in ten other countries worldwide. As well as "You Rock My World", the album spawned three more singles: "Cry", "Butterflies" and the promotional single "Speechless". Album: HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I
Artist: Michael Jackson
Release: 20 June 1995
Format: Album
Version: Standard Edition
Label: Epic / MJJ Productions
Archive: .MP3 / 320kpbs / 335MB

"HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I" is the ninth studio album by American singer Michael Jackson, released on June 20, 1995. It was the fifth Jackson album released through Epic Records, and the first on his label MJJ Productions. It comprises two discs: HIStory Begins, a greatest hits compilation, and HIStory Continues, comprising new material written and produced by Jackson and collaborators. Several of the album's 15 new songs pertain to the child sexual abuse allegations made against him in 1993 and Jackson's perceived mistreatment by the media, mainly the tabloids. Because of this, HIStory has been described as Jackson's most "personal" album. HIStory debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, among nineteen other countries. Six singles were released, including the protest songs "Earth Song" and "They Don't Care About Us". "Scream/Childhood", a duet between Jackson and his sister Janet, became the first song to debut in the top five on the Billboard Hot 100, reaching number five. "You Are Not Alone" was the first song in history to debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100; it was Jackson's final number-one single. Though the album received generally positive reviews, the lyrics of "They Don't Care About Us" drew accusations of antisemitism, to which Jackson responded that the lines had been misinterpreted and replaced them on later pressings. Jackson embarked on the HIStory World Tour, which grossed $165 million (equivalent to $268 million in 2019), making it the highest-grossing solo concert tour of the 1990s. It was Jackson's third and final concert tour as a solo artist. The album has sold over 20 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling albums of all time, and the best-selling multi-disc album. In August 2018, it was certified 8× platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). It was nominated for five Grammy Awards at the 1996 Grammy Awards, winning Best Music Video – Short Form for "Scream". Jackson won an American Music Award for Favorite Pop/Rock Male Artist at the 1996 American Music Awards.

Album: Thriller
Artist: Michael Jackson
Release: 30 November 1982
Format: Album
Version: Standard Edition
Label: Epic
Archive: .MP3 / 320kpbs / 101MB

Thriller is the sixth studio album by American singer Michael Jackson, released on November 30, 1982 by Epic Records. Thriller became Jackson's first number one album on the Billboard Top LPs & Tapes chart. It produced seven singles: "The Girl Is Mine", "Billie Jean", "Beat It", "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' ", "Human Nature", "P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)", and "Thriller". All the singles reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, setting the record for the most top 10 singles from an album, with "Beat It" and "Billie Jean" reaching number one on the chart. Michael Jackson's Thriller, the "Thriller" music video, was premiered to great anticipation in December 1983 and played regularly on MTV, which also increased the sales of the album. It spent a record 37 weeks at number one on the Billboard 200, from February 26, 1983 to April 14, 1984, and has spent 400 weeks on the chart and counting.

By the end of 1983, Thriller became the best-selling album of all time, having sold 32 million copies. It was the best-selling album worldwide of 1983, and was also the best-selling album in the United States in 1983 and 1984, making it the first album to be the country's best-selling for two years. The album's success set the standard for the music industry with its songs, music videos and promotion strategies influencing artists, record labels, producers, marketers and choreographers. The album broke racial barriers in popular music, enabling Jackson's appearances on MTV and meeting with President Ronald Reagan at the White House. It was one of the first to use music videos as successful promotional tools, and the videos for the songs "Billie Jean" and "Beat It" and the short film Michael Jackson's Thriller all received regular rotation on MTV and are credited for transforming music videos into a serious art form, with the latter also popularizing short films in the music industry.

Thriller remains the best-selling album of all time, with sales of 66 million copies worldwide. It is the second-best-selling album in the United States and was the first to reach 30× Platinum or 3× Diamond. As of February 2017, it has sold 33 million certified album-equivalent units in the US. Album: Off The Wall
Artist: Michael Jackson
Release: 10 August 1979
Format: Album
Version: Standard Edition
Label: Epic
Archive: .MP3 / 320kpbs / 98MB

Off the Wall is the fifth solo studio album by American singer Michael Jackson, released on August 10, 1979 by Epic Records. It was Jackson's first album released through Epic Records, the label he recorded under until his death in 2009. Several critics observed that Off the Wall was crafted from disco, pop, funk, R&B, soft rock and Broadway ballads. Its lyrical themes include escapism, liberation, loneliness, hedonism and romance.

Off the Wall peaked at number three on the Billboard Top LPs & Tapes chart and number one on the Top Black Albums chart, staying at number one on the latter for 16 weeks. It was an enormous critical success and was ranked third in the Billboard Year-End Albums of 1980. Five singles were released from the album. Jackson wrote three songs himself, including the Billboard Hot 100 number one single "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough", which was Jackson's first solo number-one single since "Ben", seven years prior. The second single from the album, "Rock with You" also peaked atop the chart. With the title track and "She's Out of My Life" reaching the top 10 of the chart, Jackson became the first solo artist to have four singles from the same album peak inside the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100.

Off the Wall was a significant departure from Jackson's previous work for Motown and was hailed as a major breakthrough for him. In retrospect, writers have hailed it a landmark of the disco era and one of the greatest albums of all time. It is also often debated by critics between itself and Thriller as Jackson's best album. The album has sold over 20 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling albums of all time. In August 2009, it was certified 8× Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). At the 1980 Grammy Awards, it was nominated for two Grammy Awards, with Jackson winning Best R&B Vocal Performance, Male for "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough". The album also won three American Music Awards, and Jackson won the Favorite Soul/R&B Male Artist award twice. In 2008, Off the Wall was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
